Cover letters are a bit like sex. The first few times are awkward and messy, and there’s really only so much you can learn by watching someone else. The good news is you’ll get better with practice.

Have exercised my right to participatory democracy for the next 4 years or so, but the lineup is nuts. I know they only have one ballot box at advance polls but I wasn’t expecting a 10+ person lineup and a 45 minute wait (and there were only 6-7 people in front of me). Thankfully, they had a system in place for seating the less able bodied and keeping track of our place in line. If I’d known, I might have brought my own chair for the laugh factor. Really excited to see so many people getting out and voting though.
Well, it’s not sleep apnea, but it seems like the thyroid antibodies are really high so we need to look into that, which means now I need to get a referral to an endocrinologist. The OTC thyroid boosters weren’t helping any and they cost a fricking fortune. Still tired, but thinking there might be a solution in the wings.
Ahh, technology. Great when it works, vexing when it doesn’t. Got the laundry and the dishes, but the Christmas tree still mocks me from the corner. At this point I’m hoping to get it down by Easter. No, not joking at all here. Just no real energy. Waiting for the ThyroSmart and inositol to start “working” effectively together. Also waiting on a sleep apnea test and hoping it won’t take months to get in. Hello world!
